Deck Build Pittsburgh connects homeowners with independent, third-party deck contractors in the Pittsburgh area. We do not perform construction work ourselves, and we do not employ, supervise, train, or control the contractors we refer.
No warranty on contractor work
We make no warranty or guarantee, express or implied, regarding the quality, timeliness, safety, licensing, insurance status, permitting, or workmanship of any work performed by a contractor connected through our service. All materials, labor, and craftsmanship are the sole responsibility of the contractor performing the work.
No liability for work performed
Any agreement, estimate, contract, or work order is strictly between the homeowner and the contractor. Deck Build Pittsburgh is not a party to that agreement and assumes no liability for any damages, losses, injuries, delays, or disputes arising from work performed, or not performed, by a referred contractor.
Do your own due diligence
- Verify the contractor's license and insurance before work begins
- Get a written estimate and contract directly from the contractor
- Check local permit requirements for your project
- Ask for references or examples of past work
